Many of the players from the youth set up have gone on to represent their counties at their age group and the club has now seen a number of these youth players go on to play in the clubs First XI. The club has also been the breeding for some of this talent to go onto play senior county cricket at Minor Counties level

The club is run and managed by a dedicated and committed Executive committee who strive to manage the operations of the club in a thorough and professional manner, further enhancing the clubs status within the county and nationally.
The club are very fortunate to offer such a fabulous cricket ground and our social facilities are the best anywhere in club cricket. We host Minor County matches not to mention a host of other sporting and leisure activities. Off the field the club provides a friendly family atmosphere with a superb social scene with a lively social calendar throughout the year. We always welcomes new members whether they are playing or non-playing. We look forward to seeing you at the club throughout the season.
Club History
1948-1973:
A period of uncovered and often unprepared wickets saw unprecedented success over this period. With 4 or 5 top club cricketers playing alongside some enthusiastic, competitive players, results were sensational. So much so that many so-called top clubs locally refused our invitation for games. A couple deigning to offer their 2nd team up for a ritual sacrifice duly obliged!

1973-1980:
Our OCA years and an awakening. Not enough depth and complacency made for a difficult start. Soon rectified and we climbed the leagues winning cups on the way. Our magnificent new ground offered proper quick wickets and a lightening outfield. A bar that became what any successful team needed, cheap beer and a relaxed approach to the licensing laws.

1980-1992:
Into the Trinity League and another awakening, especially losing 6/7 1st team regulars. It was tough, but a slow improvement saw us win the league in 1984 with a fine team, mostly local boys who had come up through the ranks. After that. although competitive with a group of fine player, always this sense that we should have won more games.

1992-2000:
A time of great success, bolstered by an Australian import, by the end of the decade we were top 3 club sides in the county. We were lucky inasmuch as we were at the front of the queue and had some real quality boys come over.

2000-Present:
In 2002 we won the Oxfordshire KO, the pinnacle in a way and also it was the period when we gradually slipped back from that high standard. Seasons of high quality, a promotion inevitably followed by a relegation. Our 3rd Team and 2nd Team have enjoyed promotions is the past few seasons with the 2nd XI winning the Division 5C in 2022 and our 3rd XI winning Division 9 in 2017.

Code of Conduct:
As part of our commitment to ensure that we operate a fun and safe environment for all can we please remind parents/carers of the following:
• Children aged school years Reception to 6 MUST have a parent or responsible adult remain at the club for the duration of the training session. DO NOT drop off and leave your child.
• Children aged school years Reception to 3 are to wear their All Stars personalised kit. Children signing onto Dynamo's to wear provided shirt. Children aged school years 4 to 6 are to wear cricket whites for training sessions (or at least a white t-shirt with light trousers/shorts) so coaches can differentiate between those taking part in training sessions and those who are not.
• When your child is not participating in their training session they must be supervised at all times and not play on the outfield when other training sessions are taking place. This extends to children who are coming to watch others train and to the older age groups who may be arriving early for their session.
• Children should not be allowed to play near the wicket covers
• Children should not use the practice nets after 4:30pm on a Friday evening unless it is as part of their supervised training session.
• Club kit should only be used by coaches for their training session and not removed from the box without prior permission.
Clearly the last thing we want to do is to stop people from having fun, but we need to maintain our high safety standards and ensure those training and visiting can enjoy themselves in a safe environment.
